Activity Overview:

Costa  Rica has more than 25% of its land protected with the intention to preserve the mother nature, wildlife and plants. These protected areas could be National Parks, Wildlife Refuges or Reserves, which are very rich in flora and fauna. Some of them are open to the public for quick visits and here is where we could take you for a National Park Guided Tour. You will be leaded by a Professional Guide who is going to show as nobody else could whats the park about, what you can see in the nature and will take you inside this area to enjoy as much as possible. It is usual to see different animals and different species of plants on these trails and the guides knows whats the best spots for you to take the most out of the trip.

Location: Manuel Antonio.

Description: Manuel Antonio National park is one of the smallest protected areas in Costa Rica but still though is one of the most visited, all this is due to the simple reason of having one of the twelve best national parks in the world, also because it possesses incredible beaches and a great diversity of animals that are easily accessible for our guides to find them in the middle of the dense forest. Our ICT certified guides, have a trained eye to find everything from small insects to larger mammals and the ability to explain everything concerning the species they found. That is why, our guides have gone through an extensive training process, as well as years of study to be able to answer any additional concerns that you may have about the vast biodiversity of our protected area plus they’ll be carrying a telescope so that customers can observe in greater detail each species found. The tour on the trails takes two hours ending at the beach, where the beach time is at the client’s disposition. Location: Monteverde.

Description: Monteverde Reserve is located on the Continental Divide, the boarder between the Pacific and Atlantic sides of Costa Rica. On a clear day, hiking in the Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve, allows you to see the Pacific ocean from way up high in the mountains, even though it is miles away! The varied climates and high latitudes of this cloud forest reserve help keep this vast biodiversity of plant and animal life going: There are jaguars, black guans, ocelots, emerald toucanets, threewattled bellbirds, barenecked umbrella bird, blue-crowned motmots, quetzals, hummingbirds, and tens of thousands of insects to see and learn about. Your tour guide will be sure to point out the interesting wildlife that you may be lucky enough to see! You will have the opportunity to explore the nine different paths that weave through the cloud forest, eventually arriving at one of the highest points of the reserve. This point is nicknamed “La Ventana”, meaning “the window” for a reason: it continues to set people in awe with the crystal clear view of the gorgeous mountains, trees and huge sky that surrounds them. Onward during your hike, you will arrive at the Wilford Guindon hanging bridges that stretches over 325 ft above the tree tops. This is where you will have the opportunity to look down over rivers and forest and see a number of interesting plants and flower species, such as the bromeliads, orchids, ferns, vines and mosses.
