PAYMENTS

Our preferred payment method is via our website www.puravidapackages.com. In case any issue or extra help required our agents could provide you with the support needed in order to complete your purchase properly. 

We also accept payments via PayPal. We could send you an invoice from our business account or you could also use our link: https://paypal.me/pvpcorp to transfer to us your payment. If paying via PayPal, related transaction charges will be covered by the purchaser.

Another way to pay us is doing a direct wire deposit to our USD bank account. If paying via wire deposit, related transaction charges will be covered by the purchaser. The following is our business banking information:

Reservations are not confirmed until we acknowledge your payment. We will contact you once we have received your payment.

Activities payment policy: Payment policy for activity is a full 100% at booking time. The only exception is Sport Fishing Tours which allow you to pay a 50% deposit and 50% open balance which is due 30 days before the tour start date. 

Travel Packages payment policy: Payment policy for travel package is a 50% at booking time. No exceptions. The 50% open balance is due 30 days before the travel package start date.

CANCELATION & REFUND

Any cancellation by a client must be made in writing and acknowledged by Pura Vida Packages, email us to: reservations@puravidapackages.com

The date on which the request to cancel is received by us will determine the applicable charge. Note that any costs incurred for changes made by the customer after the itinerary is confirmed are the sole responsibility of the customer.

If clients are unable to use the product or service offered as hired, the client is refunded according to the following policies:

Activities:

  • From the amount paid at booking time, 50% is a non-refundable deposit. No exceptions. 
  • Up to 30 days before your activity starts: 50% refund from the amount paid at booking time.
  • 30 to 15 days before the trip starts: 25% refund from the total amount.
  • 15 days or less before the trip stats: 0% refund from the total amount. 
  • There are no refunds for unused portions and no-shows.

 

Travel Packages:

The itineraries are brief, as we never know exactly where our journey will take us. Due to our style of travel and the regions we visit, travel can be unpredictable. The information found in our website is a general guide to the tour and region and any mention of specific destinations or wildlife is by no means a guarantee that they will be visited or encountered. Aboard expedition trips visits to research stations depend on final permission. Additionally, any travel times listed are approximations only and subject to vary due to local circumstances.
 
Pura Vida Packages keeps communication with our providers (partners) and makes sure to always carry the most updated information about them. We also do frequent visits and inspections to make sure the service provided is what we want to offer you.
 
Pura Vida Packages and all the providers (partners) have a Civil responsibility and liability insurance policy. Most of the guides and drivers are trained in first aid/CPR in case of emergency. However, we highly recommend you have your own travel insurance with a reputable company prior coming to our country.
 
Pura Vida Packages assumes no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from acts of nature, strikes, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discrepancies or change in transit.
